Here is a small example of UX designs from past projects. Most of Ryan's work remains classified per client's request.
Pushing our team to strive for not only excellent design, but also to meet deadlines, I work on wide-ranging projects. From contracts with the United States Department of Defense, mobile apps and websites for a Multi-Million dollar recording artist, and in-house apps for colleges and universities, I have served in a key role that has allowed Combustion Group to not only grow and become successful, but also to position design as a key foundation of the company.
From the small imperfections to remastering in full color, no project is too big.

Chicago Magic Lounge Branding
Branding for the newly-opened Chicago Magic Lounge mixes elements of the 1920s speakeasy, a modern feel, and the tradition of magical entertainment in Chicago bars to evoke a modern take on a familiar look. Consistency in poster design, logo, business cards, and even in-house giveaways combine to give guests an experience that they will remember and share.
Our Town: Opera
Our Town, based on the classic American play by Thornton Wilder, required lighting that defined different spaces and times, all within the same stage space. Important considerations included sensitivity to the mood and the subject of each individual scene, making certain that the piece as a whole had a cohesive look.
Produced in 2013 in collaboration with Oklahoma Children's Theatre, the goal of the lighting design for Treasure Island was twofold -- capture the mood and spirit of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story while transporting the audience to the different locales needed. A particular challenge was presenting the storm in a way that captured the excitement and peril of a ship at sea in a way that would engage the audience.
